Halloween is gonna Kick-Ash
If you are unfamiliar with The Evil Dead, I suggest you make that a priority...after eating. So...like now. Just kidding, but in all seriousness, you are going to want to be prepared for "Ash vs Evil Dead." This continues the series and will have a run of 10 episodes on Starz. Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert are exectuvtive producers, and due to their history with the franchise, fans of the cult classic series should be able to put their fears at ease.
The handsome young man with the chainsaw for a hand is none other than the legendary Bruce Campbell! Had a crush on him as a kid, still have a crush on him now. Don't judge. Campbell is back in action, hunting mosters after spending the last 30 years being a man-child, but he can't run from destiny forever. Ash has to face all of his demons, and I mean that in every sense of the word.
This all star cast is led by Bruce Campbell (Evil Dead, "Burn Notice") as Ash Williams. The fierce Lucy Lawless ("Salem," "Spartacus," "Xena"...YES! XENA!!!!) will be playing mysterious Ruby. Is she the cause of the Evil outbreaks? Only time will know. Ray Santiago ("Touch," Meet the Fockers) plays an immigrant and Campbell's new sidekick. Dana DeLorenzo (A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas 3D Christmas) will play Kelly Maxwell who is trying to run away from her past. And last, but not least, Jill Marie Jones ("Sleepy Hollow") as Amanda Fisher, a disgraced state trooper who believes -- and will stop at nothing -- to prove that Ash is responsible for the murder of her partner.
